Farm & Asset Management
A modern web platform for managing farms, assets, operations, and business workflows.
- Farms, crops, and fields in one operational view
- Owner/tenant partnerships with automatic settlements
- Photo receipts on every expense and sale
- Per-crop and per-asset profitability, computed live

Problem
Small farm operations have real business complexity — crop-sharing arrangements with tenants, equipment used on the owner's own land and rented out to others, expenses that need splitting and approval — but no affordable software built for that complexity.
Solution
A web platform that ties farms, crops, expenses, sales, and equipment into one system, with owner/tenant partnerships and settlements handled natively rather than tracked by hand.
Core modules
Manage farms and their fields — the operational foundation everything else builds on.
Track every crop through a real growth-stage lifecycle, from land prep to post-harvest.
Owner/tenant revenue-share crops, with running balances settled as debts are paid off.
Log expenses with photo receipts — tenant-submitted expenses route to the owner for approval.
Record harvest sales with buyer, payment status, and the owner/tenant split calculated automatically.
Track equipment cost, maintenance, and usage across the operation.
Rent equipment out with flexible pricing — hourly, per-acre, per-day, fixed, or crop-share.
Per-crop profit and loss, and per-asset profitability — computed automatically, no spreadsheets.
Web experience
React and TypeScript, with TanStack React Query handling all server data, react-hook-form and zod for validated forms, and a small internal UI kit — no third-party component library.
Built for the actual users
English and Hindi throughout, defaulting to Hindi rather than inferring from the browser — matching how the people who actually use this app work, not assumptions about them.

Deployment
Live in production: a Dockerized Express API and a static web build, both served from one AWS EC2 instance behind nginx and Cloudflare, with PostgreSQL on RDS.
